Henry, we should have the info to call the hotel either today or tomorrow...

There has been mention of a few car hang out in and around Austin, but I know that some people's SO's might not want to spend the later part of the evening standing in a parking lot.

For those of you who didn't come down to 6th street, we had a great time, and it would be nice to do that again.

FYI,

The UT vs. Rice game is that weekend. Hotels seems to be holding their pricing firm due to that.

Damn...didn't even think about looking at TU's schedule for football games.

This also means that 6th street and the restaurants will be packed I'm sure.

Well, dinner will be at the Oasis so that is covered. As far entertainment, we are getting a list of live bands playing, so that we can find some good music to listen to and chill out

As far as everything else, its a little late in game, everything is pretty set now, just waiting on some finalization. Rachel has been great in stepping up and help with getting the info.

If I can get all the dirt off mine, can an old '95 from Cibolo (San Antonio) join in?

The last Austin Cruise was "way cool." I'm kind of waiting for the final word on the dates and time. Maybe someone will post the info in the SVT Performance Forums.

**note to self...send Carl another check ** Edmond is working hard to squeeze the best deal out of the hotels given the circumstances (home game weekend, parking, location, etc.). It promises to be a fun event and we will have hotel information in plenty of time to book the rooms. We want to be able to provide secure parking for all of the cars and I'm pretty sure everyone agrees that issue is a priority. Factor in the entertainment issue and "walking distance." We have narrowed it down and will make a final decision within 24 hours. Just trying to get everyone the best deal. It will be a fun cruise, just like last time, and the powers that be hope to provide a great route and entertainment for the masses. Thanks for your continued patience.
