It's almost show time!

COBRA ALLEY
If you are on the list to park in Cobra Alley, please be at Parkway Ford by 8:30 AM on Saturday morning as we will open up Cobra Alley around 9:00 AM to fill it up the rest of the way on a first come, first serve basis.

REGISTRATION
If you are planning to pay on Saturday morning, please do yourself a favor and print out the registration form, fill it out, and bring it with you on Saturday morning as this will help speed up the line. Also, you can still mail your registration form (now $20) to me if you are in the area locally as long as it goes out with Thrusdays mail at the post office. Please do not mail it after the daily pickup on Thursday as it will not prior to the show.

Yes, parkway will be using the employee lots and their overflow lot for spectator parking. The best way to come in for spectator parking will be to come in off Silas Creek onto Hutton Street by Baity's Discount Tire.

Hutton St will be closed between BK and Bob King for the show, so if you get on Hutton at the other end you will be forced to turn into BK.

Exclamation Attention Preregistered Show Participants

For those of you that preregistered for the show we will have an express lane open only for you. This will allow you to enter the dealership off Peters Creek Parkway just like last year. But then as you exit the dealership to cross Hutton Street you will pull out to the left of the line and drive around the line waiting to register. There will be a third lane in front of the SCMC trailer so you can pull up and check in and then go park without having to wait in line.

We will have someone to direct you how to do this at Hutton St.

Tony,

There is a Magnum Car Wash right near the dealership. It is one of those where they do the combination hand wash and run it through one of those soft touch car washes. I don't remember there being any of the do it yourself pressure wash carwashes nearby. They had one on Peter's Creek Parkway years ago but I'm pretty sure it is no longer there.

Paul wasn't enthusiastic about the idea of using one of their wash bays so that's not an option.

What time are you planning on getting to Winston on Friday?
Are you staying at the Holiday Inn Express by the dealership?

Exclamation Show Status and Directions

The show is still on, rain or shine! Hopefully the weather will cooperate and it will get the rain out of the way tonight leaving it overcast (and cooler) tomorrow.

HIgh is currently predicted to be 81 with a chance for scattered rain.

If you need directions to Parkway Ford here is a link to directions using mapquest: http://www.parkwayford.com/hours-location/

The lists have all been updated. If you mailed in your registration form and your name is not on the list then I have not received it.

We still need to try to get two more people to volunteer to be event staff. If you are willing to do this please let me know.
