Thumbs up

I finally got it installed yesterday around 6:00pm. There really isn't anything I can say about this product that someone else hasn't already. However this truly is a remarkable shifter and you really wouldn't expect it to work as well as it does. Thanks again Larry and Rachael for all your help and thank you George for a great product.

The question is this. Am I better off installing my shifter with a gasket, like Cobrabob's shifter gasket over on stvp? Or is it better to use the stuff that comes with the shifter? Or are they equal?

Thanks for any answers, in advance
Just wanted to make it clear that although the standard sealer obviously does its job, my gasket set does quiet down the shifter because it provides a better seal between the shifter base and the tranny mounting plate. This superior seal keeps much of the gear noise from being transmitted through the billet shifter into the cabin. It also makes for a cleaner install. I've sold over 3,000 sets and many are for MGW shifters. I've yet to hear that the gasket didn't quiet down a shifter. They really do work. Some do prefer to stick with the sealer at the expense of more noise entering the cabin. So it's an option. IMO a good option. And cheap!
