No problem bud! I don't take PM's through the BB, too annoying. You have to e-mail me direct.

Glad you had a good time Scott and a big thanks to your wife for tending the gate for a while. It was a tremendous help! Next time we'll be sure to have a gate attendant set up.

Rick/Tony and SCMC,

Thanks for letting us join the fun and run our cars on the track. Sure beats hauling travelers and their luggage to and from the airport .

I had an absolutely fantastic time and really enjoyed the event as well as the people in attendance. You guys are tops and thanks for dialing up the beautiful weather again. (how do you consistantly do that?)

The track provided a great driving experience and by tailing Rick at the end of the day, I learned a substantially different line. I can't wait until the next event. Kumhos are totally shot after 4 events. I'll have new tires and bigger brakes next time out.

If there is ever a vote needed for 411 vs TGP, I'd cast one for both since they are both great events...but for the travel/track time/dollar value, TGP wins hands down.

See you at the next event.

Mark

(Current cab fare - first lap $10.00/each addl lap $5.00)

A great event, and TONS of track time. Thanks for organizing and administrating a great day at Talladega Grand Prix Track.

I thought this might be somewhat amusing to those folks that were there. A video of the Grand Marquis doing circuits around TGPrix.

Grand Marquis Vid at TGPR

Enjoy!

Thanks to the club for a great event on Saturday. Weather was great and the SVT Cobra folks were great hosts. I had a great time getting the Cobra kit car on the track for the first time (mine was the burgundy with gray stripe version). I especially enjoyed the challenge of trying to run down the Yellow Z06 - that thing is FAST!

lol.. Not dumb, i think with me coming on and off throttle to match the Marquis speed, it sounds a bit weird...

6 spd manual.. On the full bore unhindered runs, I am using 3rd, 4th, and 5th

You won't get to see those pics Jim....it's not easy doing a 270 degree turn around on the track!
