Catted H/X Pipe & O2 sensors
I am going to be putting a catted mid pipe on, I am not sure which, just need to get some cats on it. Right now I have a O/R Mid with just the front O2 sensors and a WB on the Pass rear nothing on the drivers rear just capped. When putting a catted mid on do I need to put all 4 O2 back on? Or can I keep the set up as it is just install the Mid thanks.

if you have cats, then I'd use the 02's, but it's not necessary...just like with your O/R pipe it's not necessary...hell, you can even turn off your front 02's with a tune

We have inspections here in NC too, but unless they do a tailpipe test they won't be able to fail your inspection. Most of the new cars they inspect with the OBD port anyway (electronically).
I would suggest keeping the o2's the way you have it set-up now on your catt-ed mid-pipe, I'm sure you have a tune so it won't really matter. Also if you only have a visual inspection I'd gut the cats and re-install them ![]()
