Cobra seats, anyone have racing seats?

I guess Im going to keep the car, to keep it I have to get back farther than the stock seats will travel, and I need to get about an inch or more lower than the stock seats will lower, does anyone have racing seats like the "Cobra" brand racing seats?? if so,,do they move farther back and are they lower??

not only that Im going for one of Mr Whipple's superchargers,
I have an Accufab TB do I need to change the injectors and fuel pump??

thanks

nope, but I have sat in some racing seats at a custom wheel shop, and they were very comfortable and offered more support than the stock Ford seats. I was waiting for my tires to be re-ballanced since I threw some wheel weights off the front wheels. I did not even want to get out of the seat and was considering taking one home with me that day but the cost would have busted my budget at the time. You may be able to either use the stock seat frame or have one made for the racing seat. I would suggest finding a local race or speed shop or even a custom wheel shop that specializes in mods for german imports or other. If they have seats that will give you a chance to sit in them before you buy it.

I have put OMP racing seats in my Cobra. They are in a fixed location by choice. Not having them adjustable allows them to sit lower. I have a "Big" seat for me and a standard size for the passenger. I tried to put two "Big" seats in but that turn out to be impossible due to the width of the seat backs. I also ended up making my own seat mounts to get them to fit in. I will get to try them this coming weekend at VIR.
