Differential cover

Has anybody installed any kind of aftermarket differential cover on a 2003 or 2004 Cobra IRS? I want to install the one from Trick Flow but they can't tell me for sure if it will fit. Help please!

I'v put on a Billetflow and a Steeda. I would go with the Billetflow, it fits great, looks great and stopped the leak. It was a lot easyer to install than the Steeda. The Steeda was way to beefie and much harder to put in place.

Billetflow, Steeda, or Motoblue's will all fit perfectly and serve the same purpose...not too difficult to install, just takes a little time

Are you talking about the brace or the actual new cover? I'm not sure if the Trick Flow cover will work or not but all of the above mentioned braces will bolt on right over the old cover and protect you from exploding the pumpkin.

The only place that makes an aftermarket cover is Billetflow, guaranteed to handle up to 1500rwhp, but it comes with a price also. I believe around $800 or more.

I'd recommend just purchasing the brace and be done with it.

I'm talking about a new cover w/ carrier cap studs and external bolts that tighten down on the carrier caps. Ford racing, and Rousch have them in their catalogs but the Trick flow one is about $75 cheaper. I'm sure the braces work but I can't get past the looks of them. I will never buy anything from Steeda (again), if they were the only place to buy Mustang goodies I'd be driving something else.
