I just had a stage 4 installed not 3 weeks ago, and just had it tuned monday before last, please look at my mod list for my mods as its a very long list,

with LT headers, a 2,76 pulley on the stage 4, Accufab single blade, Mac cold air sys, I got 511.9 RWHP and 467.7 RWTQ , Stiegemeier says you can just bolt it on without a tune and it works fine,,,

Well it does, they are a very good company to deal with, good reputation also,,,,,,,but I did not get these HP&TQ numbers until I got tuned, and it needed the tune, ,,before the stage 4 I had a little more TQ than HP, in fact i had 485 Lbs torque and I lost torque but gained a lot more HP what happens the torque gets it moving quick the HP takes over so much that my IRS does that
"Not Knowing which wheel to keep sending power to" kind of side to side thing, like the tires at high speed start wanting to break loose.

Ok, im just surprized you got 503 RWTQ, thats a lot, after you put on the Stage 4 will you loose about 12 lbs torque, but the HP you gain is going to make it feel much stronger, but your doing the right thing for sure by putting on a lower, as that gets back the torque lost in the port, now are you having to have higher capacity fuel pumps installed in order to use the lower???
the guy that tuned mind will not put a lower on after an 03-04 has hit the 500 RWHP mark without installing the better pumps too,

Dave B.

After you get around the 500+rwhp mark you will need either a KB BAP or larger pumps, you will also need a SCT meter. I recommend the 4lb lower and larger fuel pumps

yes I'm going to use the 60LB injectors with the stock pumps for now and if I need new pumps I will buy them.... Forget about the pumps I want to know about pulley combo's with what CAI and exhaust for well over 500+ rwhp.

Wow, the guy in Tampa that did my last tune said NO ,, NO WAY using my OEM pumps for absolutly anymore than what I have now, 500 HP is the limit and its not safe period to go anymore that 500 without upgrading,
So please let us know how your tune turns out using OEM pumps with a lower set up like your going to have,
