IMO, on the stock motor, no it's not worth the cost. We suggest changing out valve springs while in there. You're basically looking at $2500+ total to put cams in and might see 40rwhp. There are plenty of other options that exceed that increase and far less expensive...but if you just want the sound then go for it

Just like blk04cobra1 said, yes you'll need to get the valves, springs, etc...
But unless you've got the engine out rebuilding it then the cams aren't really going to be a best bang for the buck mod. You'll have about $2000 in the cams and srings etc... not including install which will be over $1,000 easy unless you're doing it yourself.

Good luck

A radical cam would be awsome, but like others have said probably not worth it due to the low numbers in gains. A job probably easier to do if the motor was out of the vehicle so that the slop can be taken out of the timming chains during the rebuild. If you do decide to take on the challenge do not forget to remove the rockers before you loosten up the cam towers due to the loading on the valve springs otherwise damage to the cam towers may result. From what I read about doing it, there is alot more than meets the eye. You would probably need a few hunderd extra to spend on the proper tools to do it so that you can get the timming and slop in the chains adjusted.
