03 cobra noise in front suspension

I own a 10th anniversary 03 cobra and shorty after I bought it I noticed that when I would back up there is a noise like loose control arm bushings and you can feel the noise in your feet on the floor. I did question this with my ford dealer and they said right before I bought the car they had installed brand new control arms and when I looked under the car there are brand new control arms there. they told me that those should have fixed it but it didn't. the car is getting ready to go out of warranty soon so I really want to figure this out. thanks.
note the car was never wreaked or beaten. there is about 22,000 miles on it.

I'v heard the brake pads sound like that only when you back up.....The little clips on the pads were not there so when you backed up pads would rotate back and bang on caliper bracket......

I get a similar feel with mine as well when backing up but usually it only occurs after the car was washed or wet. I know it is the brake pads doing it and soon will need to replace them since they have two years and almost 20k+ miles on them. I recently replaced the rears with pads I had left over from my 01 Cobra which I held on too since they are almost as thick as the new pads when I replaced them. I plan to replace all of the rotors and pads soon so using the rear pads from the 01 posed no problems to me. I even have the fronts as well but the 04 stockers were still in good shape and probably not the same pad so when it is time to replace them they will all be done the right way. Was thinking about getting the cross drilled brembo rotors but not sure if that would be best.
