Angry Mother Freakin Country ass Drivers!

I just hate it when the damn country bumkins come in to town and have no clue how to drive.

so on my way home from work last nite, driving down the highway in the fast lane, cause I'm fast (in my own mind) and there is this country pickup truck in front of me, you know the kind. no tailgate, mud all over it, girlfriend riding in the middle, tail pipe all bent up, guy wandering all over the highway cause there are so many things to look at in the big city.

well A hole wanders over on the shoulder and hits a semi tire (just love it when they dont pick those up) and well lets just say my front bumper is now toast. guy keeps driving like nothing happened in his own damn world.

your the 1st person who has said that. most other people laughed at my discription of the person and said they have the same drivers in their area. I am not saying all country people are that way. in fact I grew up a country boy myself and worked with alot of good country folks and farmers.

but I see it all the time. people coming into town that havent been in a while and they are drifting all over the road cause they are looking at all the new things built and billboards and just not paying attention to traffic in general. and 99% have a farm truck.

well just got back from the body shop. total for repairs is $1,696.18 they have to replace the front bumper cover. and it also bent the fins up pretty good on the he. it goes in mon and should be done by wen.

side note: looking at the estimate they charge $40 an hour for labor, I am in the wrong job.

Ouch but it could be worse. I don't like having my car damaged either. I do agree we are in the wrong job. I run into people who don't pay attention to whats going on and I don't care for them either. But they are from everywhere.

na, I like the 03 cobra bumper. but they have to replace the stock he and on the estimate sheet it says it cost $700+. I want to ask the guy if he would get an aftermarket one cause it wont cost anywhere near that much and it will work twice as good.

I had a similar issue but it was not a decreped pick up truck. It was one of those super elongated cargo vans converted into a passenger mini bus. After they cut me off they threw out some full soda bottles out the passenger window and one hit the windshield. Nothing was broken but the car had to be washed to remove all of the soda (pop for those that do not use the term soda) off of the car. At least the plastic bottle did not do any form of damage but it did piss me off. It was not some country driver either since the logo on the side of the van was from a church. I saw that first when they tried to push me out of the lane I was in which caused me to slam on the brakes. It was an act of stupidity in my books.
