brake rattle?

i just put on new pads on my 99 cobra and now when i hit bumps i will get a rattle in the front end. at first i did not think it was the brakes but then i noticed when i push on the pedal a little bit it will not rattle at all. i checked to see it the rattle clips are in and they are so i am at a loss as of what to do. anyone have this problem?

The only thing I can think of would be that the piston on that one caliper may be froze. Assuming you didn't open any bleeders or brake lines. Does it pull to one side if you apply the brakes? If yes, then the caliper is frozen. If no, then I would try and bleed the brakes. I would also check and make sure that the rubber brake line is not twisted and closed off to that caliper when you reapplied the caliper. Trust me it has happened!! I hope this helps.

My 01 has been doing this for a long time. I am thinking about the strut bushings as a cause, am changing the struts soon. AMgoing to ask a mech. today about it.

anti rattle clips?? did you put new ones in or reuse the old ones? if not you can take then out and do alttle bending/prying with some plyers to make them tight again.
