Is it the Alternator or Not?

Battery ran out of juice, so I had it tested...and it passed...so I bought an alternator, installed it and drove about an hour...then the battery ran out again. So I bought a new battery, installed it, and threw the multitester on it...11.xx that's not good!

So is it the alternator, or is something else going on? Also, this happened AFTER I pulled the cluster out. I am driving without that until the new speedo gear comes in...could that be the cause somehow?
