shock/strut question

Hey, I was wondering if putting 03/04 Cobra shocks/struts on my 97 would work? I found a pair of shocks for a good price. They are used, but look to be in real good condition. What about pairing up struts with them? Is that an issue?

The fronts will work. The rears will not, IRS vs solid. If good price, get the front as they are a good upgrade and possible sell the rears?
