Angry My Cobra vs my back porch (pics)

Anybody know a good body shop around Greensboro/Winston Salem? Needless to say, the back porch won.

Ouch!

Parkway does a good job. Modern is supposed to have the best paint booth, but I wasn't impressed with the condition my Tbird was in when I went to pick it up (had prep cleaner and primer overspray on parts of the car they didn't do any work on). That was about 6 years ago, so they may be better now.

I've found the independent shops to cost as much or more than Parkway so I figure why bother with them when you can get a warranty from Parkway that has Ford behind it should you ever have any problems.

Parkway is one of our sponsors too, right? I was thinking about them mainly b/c of matching the Rio Red.

I'm guessing now would be the time to put on the CDC side scoops like the one pictured below. What do y'all think?

Yes, Parkway Ford is one of our sponsors.

I think those side scoops look good. Makes it harder to tell they are not functional. That's the one thing I really dislike on mine, are the fake side scoops. To me they look cheesy since it is very obvious they are not functional.

I second that Martin Bros in Asheboro. I have seen some amazing work from them. Check with them first. Matching paint is not hard, if you are good at what you do.

I am not a fan of those side scoops. From the side they look cool, but when you see a Cobra coming down the road from the front, or the back, they look like rutters for a plane, stick out

After Mike's comment, I'd have to say stock. The angle in the picture looks good, but what he pointed out about how it looks at other angles probably doesn't.

i agree...Mike's comment really got me thinking. Plus, I don't think I want to run the risk of having them attached with 3m tape. I'd hate to pay for them and to have them painted just for them to blow off goin down the road!
