Cobra Convertible Suspension Spring Options/Feedback?

Just curious about suspension spring options for a 98 Cobra Convertible.

Mine has a mostly stock suspension with Tokico HP Blue struts and shocks. I would like about an inch or so of lowering without a jarring ride. The car is street driven, so potholes, crossing railroad tracks, driveway slopes and speed bumps are a consideration.

I am looking at H&R Sport Springs (PN: 51652) which are claimed to lower the front by 1.6" and the rear by 1.5". I also understand I will need a shorter pinion snubber and most likely caster camber plates.

Does anyone have these springs on a convertible and would like to share their experiences?

I didn't have your proposed set up on my car but my experience might help. I had Steeda Sport springs on my '99 convertible (PN 223-FD001-45R) with Bilstein Sport struts and shocks. My concerns were similar to yours but I also autocrossed the car approx 10 times a year as well as a couple of open track events. I live in the northeast and the roads are pretty bad. The springs dropped the car about 1.25" and that was close to the max I would be comfortable given the clearance I had on speed bumps, RR tracks, etc. I was looking for decent handling but wasn't willing to sacrafice ride quality. The car was comfortable to drive on long trips yet still competitive on the autocross course.

I have B Springs which lowered the car a little more than what you are proposing...however, they are still a fairly soft ride which is comfortable on the roads, but too soft on the track...in fact the bump stops get a lot of use!
