2008 Cobalt SS Turbo

This thread will describe my latest enthusiast vehicle, a 2008 Cobalt SS/TC (level 4). In 2008, there were only 1105 turbocharged SSs made. Only 127 of those were in Sport Red Tintcoat Metallic. These were rated 260hp/260tq from the factory, but with a custom Trifecta tune, she is making 320hp/340tq at 23psi. The 2008 SS came stock from the factory with some impressive upgrades including a Pioneer sound system with sub-woofer, LNF forged short block, revised chassis, direct injection, Brembo brake calipers, SS embroidered suede/leather seats, Autometer boost gauge, and a 3-mode traction control (normal, TC off, and Competitive mode). Competitive mode includes a built-in launch controller. The 2008 Cobalt SS set a new record for front-drive sport-compacts at Nurburgring track in Germany, which still stands. Rare, fast, and shifts like butter.
