Suggestions for a Stock '94 Cobra Suspension...

Hi,

My stock '94 needs some serious suspension help. It still has the stock shocks on it (yeech, I know, I know, I bought it that way). I was thinking about installing '99 control arms, urethane suspension bushings for the control arms, end links, and sway bar, however, what is a decent strut/shock/spring set up for daily use with an occasional autocross? I don't have tons of cash to spend, so I'd like to keep it under a grand...

For perspective, I placed KYB adjustables all the way around on my V6, and it feels pretty good. My only complaint is that when I set the struts to a soft setting, I get the pleasure of hearing a muffled "PFFFT" noise everytime it compresses, and it drives me absolutely nuts!

Any suggestions for a decent street/occasionaly autocross use, configuration?

The very first thing to do is sub-frame connectors.

I keep hearing about the Bullit springs/struts/shocks for a very reasonable price.

80K

Just found that my oil seal was leaking a bit at the back of the crankshaft (I'm replacing my clutch, so I'm doing all I can while I'm in there)....

Hey, sfuller, weren't you on the SCOA.org board too?

Beanhead: I'm the webmaster for the SCOA web site. (Which is down due to a failed server drive right now).
