WELLLL?!?
GOOD to hear from yah!! THANKS FOR MOVING ME UP!!!!
Well as far as the car goes I'M NOT EVEN CLOSE !!! The thing is in a MILLION peices !!! No motor no glass no nothing !!! I was going to post some pics but I can't get my camera software to work on my new dell!!! I may not even be ready to start the season!!! I ruined my block at summit. the set of rings I got from J E had the wrong size oil seperator rings and they scored the block bad!!! They won't do anything aboout it either !!! SO don't buy any J E stuff!!!! When you checked under the hood for me it wasn't a stuck thermostat I had blown a head gasket. Still haven't figured that out, how you blow a head gasket going to grid???? Anyway I found a block today (I think!!!). Looking forward to seeing you again! I saw on one of the other sites where youtold John you had a surprise for him!!! I'm looking forward to that !!!! You know you can't let John get too far ahead of you !!!! he is going to be on the track by the 3rd or 4th race !!!! A I EAST Asst Director COBRA #17 |

Sorry to hear about the motor...that sucks!! Hope you get it all back together for the season opener...although you can drop 3 races. It would be nice if you had the 3 left to use at other times if necessary, but you gotta do what ya gotta do. Good luck!!
Yeah, I have a little suprise for CMP in March...let's just say that after John is done gutting his car...it will still weigh more than the one I plan to bring down!!

Hoover!! Not sure how I missed this one. It was good stuff. I'll call you and tell you about it.
I will say this - out of 65-or-so racers/instructors/students, Jason Smith was in the top 20 with his times, his first time on the track!!! Jason will be a force to be reckoned with when he goes AI!! From what I've been told and seen, Don will be no slouch either... |

HONDA CHALLENGE?!?!?
Siunara! (pun intended!)
Shugg is right, Jason is there! I'll have to add a turbo to stay ahead of him! (but ask him about the party after...) If you need a block - I bought three 5.0L's last weekend, let me know... all of them seasoned just right... shugg is getting a door/bumper off of one of them... Also, I am considering selling my 351w... and dropping down into AI - shuggybutt has me thinking... Dinner was nice, your trophy made a nice placemat!!! |

Didn't I read on some other post about the Honda Challenge guys putting up a faster lap time than the AI/X guys at VIR? I may have the track wrong...but I know somebody mentioned that...on corner carvers I believe. It can be done!!

Didn't take long for the bald jokes to start flying again.
I will hopefully have some pictures of my new undertakings after this weekend. Not to worry Hoover, it doesn't involve the ricer.
