OK -

so, when I drive and take care of my car --

I'm a tomboy !!


I love cars - car car was my first word...

When I was little, I used to take my brothers MatchBox cars and trucks .... I used to play with their train set when I knew I wasn't suppossed to... and I always got caught.. but it was worth it.

Barbie cannot be Barbie without a car!

Heck, GI Joe cannot be GI Joe without a jeep!

I washed and helped take care of cars as soon as I could walk... I worked for, bought and paid for my first car when I was 17. I maintained it myself and even learned how to change a tire in case I got a flat, (not so far)......

the car that I bought was a gently used '69 Impala, from an older guy in the city who never drove the poor thing over 45. Needless to say, it wasn't long before it wasn't "gently used" anymore. I maintained the engine, body and the interior quite well - but unfortunately drove it way too fast .... it ended up having some carburator problems from the 0-100 mph as fast as possible - and then maintaining 110 as long as possible.....
poor thing...

nice memory though....
