Halon fire suppresion system installed

In case any of you track junkies are interested, I just finished installing a Safecraft three nozzle halon system in the 95.
This has three seperate lines that come out of the tank, one for the engine compartment, drivers area, and rear trunk area. Hopefull it will never be needed, but better safe than sorry.

Engine compartment nozzle

Bottle mounted behind passenger seat:

Drivers area. activation handle on left, the red thingy to the right of the handle is another nozzle.

Rear nozzle mounted on the roll bar cross brace facing rearward. (the red part in the middle of the pic)

John,
I got it from Griggs. The complete kit along with an axtra 10' of tubing, pull cable activation, and shipping came to $529.

Like I mentioned above, I liked the idea of having three seperate tubes coming out of the bottle as opposed to one line exiting, then the lines branching off to the seperate area's of the car. I was concerned with the posability that in a bad crash, that main line could possibly get kinked thus making the total system unusable. (remote chance, I agree) This setup is a little more expensive and more work to install, but hopfully it was the right decision.

Thanks for the complimements, guys.

ps. Kevin, I rubbed two sticks together and they never started on fire, so I guess the system must be working.

Brian,

Mind if I ask where you bought it and how much?

I really need to get one installed in my car. And I would like to get it done before I really hit the tracks hard this year.

[Edit] DUH!! I should have read the previous post?!! Sorry[end of Edit]

Here is a stupid question?? How does one effectively test such a system?? without setting the car on fire, that is??
