Cam Help???

I know this question has been asked alot but when I tried doing a search on which cam it didn't come up with anything I was looking for exatcly so bear with me please.

I want a cam with a lumpy idle and will work well for daily driver duties for a while. I have been looking at Steeda, Comp Cams XE, and Anderson Ford Motorsports. I'm not really looking at the Ford cams but will consider if I can get a lumpy idle cam. I'd like to get a 112º lobe seperation. But not sure what else would be good to make decent power.

I don't have a lot of mods on my Cobra yet. Will I need to get more mods before I can put a cam in?? Thanks

Tyler

heya, i am running the ford motorsport F303 cam, and its nice and lumpy, and i drive my cobra everyday. i dont think you will need to do too many other mods, but i would recomend some better breathing, like mass air, t-body, and cold air. i really dont know how this cam responds to a stock motor, as i have GT-40X heads, and a ported cobra intake. but my mods arent too extravagant, so i would assume you would be ok. idle is kinda high, around 850-900 rpm, but i love the sound. the powerband is a lot different than a stock cam, get her above 3k rpm and the revs just CLIMB. hope this helps, let me know if you have any other ?'s.
