Griggs Driveshaft - Question ??
Tim and I bought a Griggs alum. driveshaft.
We were having an extremely slight vibration at about 62 miles per hour with the OEM driveshaft and we decided to try the Griggs driveshaft... bad news --- now, we have the worst vibration that we have ever experienced.... it starts about 75 and is unbearable.... Tim's going to take it off and turn it tonight - and put it back on again.... however - - if that does not help, any suggestions? Does anyone else make one or should we just put our original driveshaft back on? I'm sure Tim will figure it out, but this really bothers me..... I didn't even notice the previous "vibe"... now, it literally shakes you.... -- anyone else have this happen? we installed the Ford alum. driveshaft on our '98 when it had a slight vibe -- that "cured it"...... I thought the Griggs would help ......

Don't forget, it must be indexed properly. When I first installed mine, we did that, and didn't have any trouble. We just got through installing a mess of stuff, and didn't index it putting it back in. Vibe is back. That's probably the problem.
