First run on a 1/4 mile track...
new personal best at Rockingham (NC)
('99 Cobra with ET Streets) I have never run a 1/4 mile track or run at Rockingham before so wasn't sure what to expect. I do know that I didn't have enough air in my tires for my liking (8-9lbs) and the rear end felt like it was all over the track, especially after the 1/8 and I got out of the throttle a few times and still ran 11.84. Also, for some strange reason, my 1st run is usually my best and I usually get slower the rest of the runs (even with cool down periods)... I was expecting to run low 12's, but was excited to join the 11 second club!!!! Best 1/8th ET, 1/8th MPH, 1/4 ET, 1/4 MPH: ============================== 60 ft: 1.678 1/8 ET : 7.665 MPH: 93.09 1/4 ET: 11.859 MPH: 117.58 There doesn't seem to be anyone else that drags much on this board, but I will post anyway.. |

BigDaddy: these times were in the '99 with the IRS still in place, granted it is an '03 IRS. Plan on switching to live axle in '01 Cobra, unless plans change. Have you had yours at the track since you've made all your upgrades, if so, what are your ET's?

No track time yet. I'm hoping to have it ready for the Drag Day. But either way I'll be at the track Nov. 8th.
