I originated this on fordpower.net, but want to make sure all my SCMC pals are notified and invited...

Here's what is planned:

09:00 meet at Wal-Mart parking lot on FM1960. There is a Chick-Fil-A there so we can grab some grub.

09:30 take off for a ride out West.

12:00 Lunch at a restaurant (TBD)

1:30 Head back to H-town.

~4:00 back in Houston...

Some of you may know, but there are several really good curves and great scenic roads out through Waller, Frelsburg, Roundtop, Fayetteville, etc. I've done quite a bit of motorcycle riding out through that area and love it. I've been wanting to take the 'stang out for a cruise and thought I'd invite all who were interested. This is about the only weekend that I could do it between now and the end of the year.

Nothing like 20 - 30 cars crusing in line and showing off whacha got.

If we get enough interest, I'll organize a formal plan, make arrangements with a restaurant (for a large group), get some volunteers for spotters, see who has two-way walkies, etc.

Right now, let's just see who is interested and can commit to a "fun-in-the-sun" day. For safety and convenience, it's best to only do this if it is not raining.

I've done a couple of cruises through the Hill Country.. there are in fact some really fun roads through the rural areas of TX!!
