eat em up
I should have put this in when it happened, but I was busy . Towards the end of the summer , 2003,I was pulling out of the local Sonic and there was this Black 85-86 GT sitting in the lot. I guess he heard me when I cranked up, as my car is loud, and he decided to crank up as well. He then proceeded to rev up continuously and pull out of his spot and got in behind me at the light. I don't know what he had done to his car, but it was much deeper toned than a normal 302, and it seemed to grawl at you. I looked in my rear view, and decided to have a little fun. I didn't rev mine up, because I thought if I did and he had something for me, I would give it away, even if he didn't. So I pulled to the right and entered the right hand lane and cruised to about twenty mph in first, and waited for him to line up. As soon as we were even, I nailed it through 1st,2nd, and half of 3rd, and had to stop as I was about to hit 70 mph! I pulled him daylight and edged away alittle more in 2nd and even more in third until I was about a half a car or more until I let out of it. We continued to play for a light or two, and he came up beside me on a straight away and I looked at him and gave him the million $ smile, and noticed he had his girl with him. Then I decided to try him some more and got him even better at the second light!! It was brutal come to think of it , because I was leaving him the whole time when we kicked!!! It was a good street meet!!!
