Brake Pad question....
Anyone have a recommendation as to where to get PFC 01 compound pads at a good price?
I've been quoted $180 (Front Set) from raceshopper.com.....Is this reasonable? Thanks in advance! Greg |

Try Appalachian Race Tire out near the airport in Knoxville/Louisville. They are local to you and have decent prices. I bought my last set of PF90s from them.

I have ran the Cobalt Spec VR pad through the 2003 season:
http://www.cobaltfriction.com/prod_c...alt-specvr.htm more info: http://www.cobaltfriction.com/prod_c...ads-cobalt.htm I absolutely love these brakes. I was never able to fade these brake, even at CMP in August. Rotor wear is excellent, as is pad wear. I think most of the AI-East guys ran this pad this year as well... Bryan |

$180.00 for PF01's seems very reasonable?! I pay about $200 per set for mine, but I have Brembo calipers and I think they command a premium for the pads on these?..
I get my pads from Porterfield. www.porterfield-brakes.com
