Another pre CMP question tires this time
I am hoping to run this event on a set of A032Rs that I have done some autocrosses and such on. The tires are at the wear bars. Is this acceptable. I have run this particular kind of tire till it corded before and am almost positive they will do the whole weekend with no issues. I have seen the Toyos that AI uses and after shaving, it looks like they are at the wear bars too. Any body have some insight here.

You *should* be OK. The A032R's have a lot of tread under the wear marks. And, they usually don't wear that fast. Especially if they were at full tread depth when new, they are probably a little hard by now. That means, good for longevity. If you can bring streets as a backup, I would...

thanks, yes they are indeed pretty hard by now. Quite a few heat cycles and full depth when new. I feel pretty confident that they can do the whole event especially with a front to back rotation ont he second day, but didn't want to bring them along if they wouldn't pass tech. they are quite a ways from being corded.

They'll pass tech. Those tires are designed to be run well past the wear marks.
