One lap of America

To any that follows that kind of racing here is a good statistic! Dan Schlickenmeyer is in 5th place overall in his Griggs equipped mustang after the race at Sears Point. This is in his old AIX and new AV8SS car!

yes it is, as a pilot Dan just pushes a button called "Auto Pilot" and simply takes a nap until the landing alert wakes him up. I guess he can do the same thing by putting mike in the car to drive between events and simply wake up as they are pulling into the next track.

Mike must be working his magic as they are up to 4th overall plus 1st in class. I see the leading car has a driver Brian Smith, is that the one from Ai?

Pick up the latest Car & Driver for a picture of Dan in his car... the picture is pretty nice. He's in a turn in the rain and it looks like his car is still on rails.
