Talking New Cobra Owner

Wel some of you know me from the first two CMP events. I the guy who drives the white pickup truck. Well after this year event and one other I had gone through about a thousand dollars in brake parts. Anyway May 29 my wife and I went to meet the new dealer sponser for the SC/SVTOA. They had a couple of 10th anniversary edtion Cobra at a good price so we traded in our SVTF and drove home a black convertible. Now all I have to do is learn how to drive it. I mean the Focus was a six speed and the Lightning has a lot of power, but putting them together in a Cobra is new to me. I figure by next March I will be ready to start over in group one and learn how to really drive and not just steer. Hope to be a good member( check is in the mail Tuesday) and get to know you all.

Hi Kim,

We've corresponded about your brakes on the NASA-VA forum(?) You should have that problem behind you for a while! I just joined this forum today since I'll be buying John Pearson's '96 AI Cobra. The Honda guys should be glad you'll no longer be blowing them off the long straight at VIR with the vortex off the back of that truck.

See you at the track,

Hi Frank, I will miss running my truck with the Hondas also. Hope to see you see you at some of the events. I think John will miss his car, but it gone to a good home with you.
