Talking SCMC 5th Anniversary Event a big hit!

All I can say is we had a blast. I do not have a lot of pictures but they will get here sometime this week by our club photographer, Snapps!

I hope others will chime in here and elaborate a little more and tell us what they liked or didn't like about the event. I know many of you were concerned about the AX in the rain but when we put up the good pics, you will see that we didn't let that stop us.

Thanks to all that made this event a success.

Tony

Hey Tony,
Had a great time at the car show, talked to some people that I had just communicated with on the website in the past. I wished the Zaino distributor had been there. O well just ordered some stuff at their website. Wished I could have been there earlier but timing wasn't right.
see ya

I was at the autocross Friday but had to leave early, I was wondering who won and the times... I had a great time and hope to do more autocross in the future.

Back from the 5th Anniversary!
Hi Tony,

We just got back too and we passed Bonnie & Tim about 2 hours out of Chicago.
First, we enjoyed the Fifth Anniversary Celebration! We would like to thank you, the anniversary committee, the SCMC officers, for their time and efforts in organizing this event. We got do to some things that we have not done before such as white water rafting and running the Dragon in the rain. Best of all, we got to meet a lot of great people and to see their "rides". Everyone was friendly and willing to discuss what they had done to their Cobra's. John Clor was an good speaker and I plan on dropping him a thank you note. We walked away from this week with a new found desire to increase the power and performance of our car. It helps when two people in our Dragon Run could pull away from me when I was running all out! Next time I promise we will "run" the Cobra in the Drag and Autocross events.
Thanks for you time and efforts again.

I was hoping to see you take it out on the street!

Thanks to everyone involved. This was the first SCMC event I was able to go to, and I had a great time. Hopefully next year I will be able to do drag racing and AX. LOTS of good looking stangs there!

Wow what a great time Patches and I had. Thank you for putting on such a great event. Running the Tail of the Dragon was great and the skyway also. The autocross was a blast even in the rain. Since this was the first time I had a chance to put my car thourgh it paces it was a great leaning experience. Thanks again to Tony,Lisa, Steve , Rich, Jeff, Greg, Pat and all the others who made it work.

Enjoyed it Tony.
Only 1 thing I saw that I believe you had no control over was no PA system for you guys.

Thanks for a great show, and all the folks who made it happen. It is a lot of work.
I am proud to say I brought home 1st place in the Z class.
