2001 Cobra Vert Wheel Questions...

I apologize in advance if this topic has been covered previously, I did scroll through the previous threads and attempt to locate it. The '01 Cobra Convertible I just purchased as the optional chrome (polished wheels) and a brand new set of P7000 SuperSports on it. I like the wheels but the tires aren't really doing much for me. I'm tempted to sell them off as a set and replace them with either a '03/04 or Cobra R set up. Will the 2003/2004 Cobra set up of 17" x 9" Cobra rims and Goodyear F1 tires fit on a '01 Cobra? If so are they are straight bolt on or will I need spacers for wheel offset? Additionally, will the same set up have any problems (not too) further down the road when I start in on minor suspension mods (likely to be H & R Sport Springs and either Koni's or Bilsteins)?

PS - Can the Cobra center caps from the '01 be used in place of the "R" center caps if I decided to go with the Cobra R rims instead?

Yes, they will bolt right on with no problem and nothing is needed to be done.

As far as the center caps, it depends where you buy the R wheels. I would check with them to see if they are the same size, but I have seen many use them.
