September Austin Cruise on 9/25

Who would be in for going on the cruise.

The cruise will be the weekend of the 25th

Each City will meet at a predetermined location, and cruise to Austin. We will all meet in Austin and prepare for the Hill County Cruise.



After the cruise, we will go to the Oasis (around 5:30) in Austin for the Sunset, drinks, and Food.

Hopefully we will have a good turn-out from the other cities also.

If you are unsure about going, please reserve your room anyway. That way you can always cancel if you don't go and you will be guaranteed a room if you do.

COVERED PARKING: $11 (the club has a section blocked off for us)

Itinerary:
Meeting spot, driving route, and activities agenda :

Each City will meet at Austin Saturday morning about 12:30 (Between 12-1)
-the Houston crew will depart from 290 and 1960 between (8:30 and 9) and straight shot to Austin, cruising. Once we get to Austin, we will meet up with other people comming in from different cities at the same HEB (keep an eye on this as its one item still under debate). We will eat a quick lunch as the Austin folks arrive. We plan on departing for the Hill county at 1:15.

There is a few place to eat by HEB. McDonalds, Subway, Pizaa, Starbucks for the coffee junkies (Like me), and a BBQ Place called Smokey J's.

The Cruise:
We will do the hill country cruise, similar to last year, and end up at the Oasis. I believe there is a pit stop beforehand.

We will arrive at the Oasis between 5:30 and 6:00 and organize for a nice dinner.

After the Oasis, we will cruise towards Austin, with a possible pit stop. The group will seperate with one part going to the Parking lot GTG in North Austin and one group will go to the Hotel and Check in, then hit up 6th Street.

Sunday:
Those who don't have to get back to town early can eat breakfast, and come take the scenic route back to Houston or whatever city.

Sunday, checkout is by Noon.

Well, the first weekend (9/4) is Labor Day holiday, so that could present some problems. The third weekend is FFW, so guess that leaves the 2nd or 4th.

That's what I meant....should we make this the "official" date??? I will have the 25th off, but may have to leave early on the 26th to get back to work.

I just want to see everyone again and join in all the turn-action fun down the twisty hills.

Was told tonight that you should get there at least an hour before sunset to get tables. Since we may have a large group, that could be a necessity. You can eat there or just have drinks. Since we are there, I say let's do both
