That's a lot of track time! I took a look at the website. I also noticed a VIR-full course date (OK it's in December but I'm still interested in a 'local' track). It looks like there could be a bunch of cars on the track at a single time during the open sessions. Approximately, how many cars (or what % of total) usually run at once?

I have five HPDE under my belt. All of those with my Lightning.
Your pricing looks good. Is the first event someone does with you consider a novice? I do consider myself a novice especially since I am now starting to run a Cobra instead of my L. You state that the car has to be service by a professional mechanic. I have and will continune to sevice my own cars. NASA allows me to do this as long as it passes tech. Does it work that way with you? |

To ensure safety and quality track time, registration is always capped at a level that prevents crowding. The VIR event will have a max of 60 cars, unlike the 100+ many other track days. Because the open track format allows you to run at will, with no deadline, it is rare that more than 75% of the field is on track at once. VIR will be a fantastic cool weather event, using the majestic full course.
Drivers that have been signed off as solo with other established DE organizations can also become solo with Chin Motorsports. You would have a check-out ride with one of our chief instructors (who are all qualified with NASA, BMWCCA, etc). We recognize credentials from most of the other track time providers, as they also recognize those from Chin motorsports. For owners who are competent mechanics that service their own cars, it is acceptable to complete your own tech, as long as the details on the inspection are complete, and you sign to take responsibility for the condition of your vehicle. In addition to the upcoming event at Roebling Road, and VIR in December, we also have events at Sebring, and Homestead/Miami Speedway. We visit almost all the major road courses in the SE. ![]() |

Too bad for me, there are about 8 events for Cobras that same weekend. I made the choice a long time ago to go to Michigan, Gingerman track. I've been dying to run at Gingerman on a dry track. My earlier trip there was in sleet and snow, not fun for a high HP car.
I'd love to run at Roebling sometime, just can't clone myself and my car. ![]()

Only 2 weeks remain before this great track event, and there is still room to get in. There are already a couple of 'Stangs registered, along with Porsches, 'vettes, BMWs, and many other sports cars. Come on out, get that ride all hot and stinky again, or for the first time, expert instruction is provided... see contact info above.
