Puff of Smoke

When I first start my 03 Cobra in the morning I get a white puff of smoke.. The only time it does it is on the first start.. The rest of the day all is normal.. What do you think?? 03 Cobra 2.9 pulley,upr off road X pipes, Steeda cold air. Peditor tune.

Most of what you see is moisture evaporating. Depending on how much humidity is in the air when you turn off the motor, as the engine cools down water vapor condensates inside the exhaust pipes, in the combustion chamber and just about everywhere there was heat. It is not much water and it will not harm anything either. As ambient temperatures begin to fall, you will see more of it. If it does not smell like coolant or oil then there is nothing to worry about. mine just creates smog in the moring and eats rice on the way into work. Lots of carbs in that diet. Then again if puffs of white smoke is a bad thing, just about every vehicle I have ever owned likes to smoke a bit on start up. If it turns black or blue and smells like oil, then you need to worry.

No, no smells of any kind. Just makes a man worry when you see these things. Last week at Bithlo we ran a 12.82 I'm not a good driver so I was happy with the run. Thanks for your input.

yea ive got the same thing happen sometimes.no smells of any kind.it happens almost everytime I wash it it puffs a little white smoke.but no smells I was a little worried when i first noticed it .
