Good stuff. Open it up to breath with the stock heads, cams.. I read good things about Bassani. I personally ordered a set of Kooks 1 3/4" Stainless headers today, long tube. i'll use these with a Magnaflow off road X-pipe and Dnynaflow cats. I have to chuck the Magnaflow cats designed for my IRS as I'm installing a solid 8.8 differential though, and the Dynas have higher flow numbers which equal better horse at the rear wheels.

I'm sort of confused as to what you mean here, but have to think your eluding to intercoolers. I personally use a Fluidyne 3 Core intercooler with my F1 Procharger setup.

I'm chucking my 6 speed for a c4 setup with a transbrake for launching the car, however a linelock would be good for heating up the tires. If you can dump the clutch and jump to the brake, the sensors in the IRS should allow the tires to heat up fairly easily.

2.8 pulley will need a 73 1/2", 2.9 should accomadate the 74" well, both using the tensioner.

I'm not familiar with Billetflow products, as I use Accufab. Someone else using these should be able to give you a good idea, though.

I purchased a Predator for a week. I took it to a dyno and found it to run on the ragged edge of lean. Good for horsepower, yes, but I was worried about reliability, or day in day out driving. I chucked it and went with a Superchip flipchip after having a hard time finding someone willing to tune a Predator on the fly without having to pay 75 bux for a custom tune each time, hoping it would work. Not that Predator is a bad product, finding support was my reason.

Excellent choice yes. However, the fine people here on the forums are raving about the MGW shifter. I personally have a PRO 5.0 shifter in my ride, but if I hadn't chucked mine for a c4 automatic setup already, I'd have already purchased the MGW.

Sort of overkill without the headwork to go along with it. He will realise some hp gains, but without porting and flowing the heads, its an exhorbatant expense based on his outlayed mods to this point.

Again, it's relative to 2 directions. Strip racing or open track. You made mention of a linelock so I have to assume drag race. Coilovers and a good set of adjustable struts and shocks are a better, although more costlyalternative, unless he is looking for visual effect. But then thats an entirely different route, and is set up completely different than autocross or
roadrace.

Gauges are a matter of taste. I personally use Autometer, but thats just me.

I use a pair of Focus pumps, upgraded fuel rails, 60lb Siemens injectors, AND a Kenne-Belle boost a pump with my setup....yes, I'm preparing for a set of massaged heads and stage 3 cams...but thats just me, again.

Bottom line is this. These forums have more information than you can shake a stick at. I've spent 4k on BS that I wont use, when if I'd have read all the stuff from the beginning, i'd have pocketed the money. If it's been thought of, these good people have tried it, at least once...and then related their experiences with their attempts. This makes our little corner of
the woods an indispensable place to camp on and read, and worth every penny.

Just my .02 cents...
