Accufab Throttle Body

Has anyone noticed the Accufab Throttle body being a little sticky when you first push on the pedal? and How about Idle? Mine seems hyper now, it takes 10-15 seconds for it to calm down to idle after just pushing the pedal. It will idle around 1000-1200 then settle down to normal.

Im not certain, but some said you have to adjust it a little if it's doing this...hopefully someone will chime in with a definite answer...

I had the same problem with the high idle and after a couple of weeks I started to get a "idle higher than expected code" I e-mailed Accufab (not very nice people) and they told me to loosen the Throttle position sensor and hold it counterclockwise and retighten. I also double checked my vacuum hoses. The idle came down a tad with no code yet. For the sticking throttle, mine has gotten better after some miles. Still far from smooth. Good luck and let us know how you make out.

I had the same thing going on! as far as the sticky throttle;I noticed when the car was off,the throttle was smooth. So, I determined that there was an overabundance of vacuum happening at an idle. Plus, when my right foot has that Tendency to depress the the throttle beyond the point of reason...I was thinking that the heat created was causing the butterfly to expand a bit. When it expands it sticks. I adjusted my throttle stop on my throttle body so that it just cracked open to dissapate the vacuum. Then, I used my preditor flash tuner to go into modified perimiters and back my idle down. This has seemed to work for me. Don't know if you have a flash tuner...or a means to adjust the idle.
