How do those of you who have the Billet Flow SC pulley and 4 piece idler arm setups like them? Those will be my next item purchased and I have been waffling back and forth between those and the South Florida DUB's system. Also how difficult is the install on the 4 piece idler arm pulleys? Is the regular or the newer no-slip style better for the SC Pulley? Got that burning itch and have a hankering to scratch it

billetflow non-slips are top notch from what ive been told (i have the cog system, so dont know from experience)...as far as installation...the blower pulley, you need a puller and the other one's are pretty easy with the exception of the alternator pulley b/c you'll probably want to yank the alternator out for ease of installation...

I don't have them on mine(yet) but....
saw them on a Friends '04 this past weekend and they look good! I plan on purchasing some in the near future, just waiting on a bonus check next month!!!

Pulley
I have the Billetflow nonslip interchangable, and it was a breeze on installation. Took about 45 minutes. It's good to have the removal and installation tools! Really big help. I used a friend of mines that he bought from Amazon Racing. Metco also makes some very nice idler pulley setups. I believe South Florida uses their pulleys, but not sure. The idlers are only held on by a single metric bolt.After the belt is removed, should be a simple install.

I guess I will go with the billet flow setup, nonslip design. Hopefully I can get them next month. I had just heard of some them coming apart if you pushed the car hard much. Just didn't hear what brand it was that was failing.

I think 2 people had a problem with the RR (reichard racing) pullies, but RR replaced them free of charge...most all of the companies making the pullies use quality steel/aluminum...good luck, you won't regret it, just make sure you get a tuning tool (SCT, Diablo, ect...) when you change out your pulley

The RR that were bad were supposedly all 2.76 pullies and he called to get them all back. Personally I will use nothing but, the RR for my S/C and the idler set up. Especially since they now have the double bearing pulley! Nothing better out there.
Also think about a lower when you do or after you do the upper and idlers. I suggest LFP lowers! I will be ordering the 2# to go with my 2.80 RR upper. Also..when you do a smaller upper pulley you will probably need to get an auxilary idler to prevent slippage..even with the the non slip...Not saying they will slip but, it's just nice to be sure with the auxilary idler!

Billet Flow Pulleys
I've alos go the Billet flow pulleys, I will be keeping the idlers, but switching the blower pulley when I get the RR pulley for my Kenne Bell!

these things easy to install?do they come with intructions?could someone give me a link of where to get the smaller pulley,idler and tools u need?thnx
whats the best tuner out there? is superchips good?does the tuner or pulleys come with instructions on what to tune?not a expert here and donjt wanna mess up the cars computer. |

have not installed mine yet but they look sweet. if you go over to svtperformance.com you will see tons of people running the billet flow setup, and the owner doug posts over there often. I was just waiting for my diablo predator to show up, got that last friday but weather didnt agree with us this weekend so looks like next weekend will be the install date. I am told its a very easy thing to do. all I have left is to pick up my plugs and belt and I am golden.

I was looking at the billitflow parts, now comes the question where to get a reliable tuner. My only question would be is the diablo predator tuner the way to go or will it require tweeking after the ECU is programmed? I would not mind if it has a safety margine built in since I would not attempt to squeeze out as much as I could with it.

Ausie, if I were you I'd use Amazon Racing. Rick has a ton of experience tuning these cars and when I get my KB installed I will be looking to him to tune mine. Just my .02!
