Boomsday Weekend In Knoxville, TN

OK folks here is your opportunity for a mini SCMC 6th Anniversary weekend in beautiful East TN.

On Saturday Sept. 3rd we will be having the 3rd annual East TN car show in west Knoxville at the Ted Russell Ford dealership location on Parkside Drive. Cars, food, music, fun.

This will be followed by dinner at a location to be determined.

Sunday Sept. 4th we will be on track at 411 for some high speed autocross action.

Of course you can take in a UT football game that weekend, the BIG Boomsday fireworks display or go cruise the Dragon.

What more could you want?

I'm there! Sounds like a lot of fun and it would be a blast going back to the 411!

The past two have been fun. Well worth going. Even without the Mustang, I'll still stop by to look around.

42 Days Til Ted Russell Show

Jason, Crystal, and I have been getting flyers out and hitting up prospective Fords for a couple of weeks now. As of July 21, we have 5 officially registered cars. If we can get a break between hurricanes I think we have a good chance of getting close to 100. We had 50 last year in the rain. So keep those cards and letters coming, folks!

There was a small ad for the event on the front page of the Automotive Section of the local paper. It was part of Ted Russell's ad.
