If you are going into the Gingerman registration form, it will make you select the event payment before you can buy the shirt, that's why we have a separate link for the shirt. Try this first:

http://www.scmcstore.com/store/produ...6&cat=4&page=2

Thanks!

I had the same problem ordering the shirt. Larry (tazz) said ad it to your wish list and then change it to add to cart and then it worked.

GIVE ME SOME CREDIT!
Lisa you didn't post that you were driving a Hertz Shelby GT500 someone else did, Tony or Brian. There is no Hertz Shelby GT500 it is a Hertz Shelby GTH with 325 hp.

READ THIS: http://www.leftlanenews.com/2006/04/...gt-h-unveiled/

I am a Hertz Gold Presidents Circle member (their highest level) I rent from them weekly If you have any OTHER questions about Hertz you can call me for the straight scoop! BTW I checked with Hertz the closest place is Detroit to rent a Hertz Shelby GTH Toledo does NOT have the "Hertz FUN Car Collection". I hope you get to take one to the track but they are expensive to rent!

While I know this may be a hike for some of you, it is also the one opportunity you will have to meet more SCMC club members then you ever have before from all parts of the country. The event will have an open track school, a car show, and the "Cobra R Challenge Race" where you will get to see Cobra R's running wheel to wheel in conjunction with the AV8SS. Also, if you enter the car show or track event you may participate in the "parade laps" during lunch for free. This is a controlled atmosphere with speeds not exceeding 55 on the track. You will be in a parade with other club members and participants from the event. On hand will be the Ford Racing trailer with display cars and merchandise for sale. The show trophies will be plaques and some of the most unique type you have probably ever won at any show. I hope many of you will put this event on your calendar for this year. Caravans are coming from Charlotte/Raleigh NC, Boston MA, Wyckoff NJ, Knoxville TN, and Wannamingo MN. If you know you will 100% be attending, please post here!

Greg- I was on the phone forever with them, I am a gold member too, not the highest level though. She checked for me, none were availiable in detroit for that date, and couldn't get one there she said, dunno. and yes, they ARE expensive, but I was/am willing; it would be more than worth it!

BUT, that being said, I will be in South haven, before ANYONE else here!!! I will be there on Wednesday! If anyone needs my cell, let me know!

2006 Hertz Shelby GT-H

All 500 cars are identically equipped with Ford Racing's Power Pack making the GT-H's 325hp. They also use Ford Racing's Handling Pack which lowers them 1.5 inches and makes the ride firmer than a stock GT. All are equipped with automatic transmissions, but use 3.55 rear gears instead of the normal 3.31's for the automatic. Each car has a numbered plaque on the dash signed by Carroll Shelby. Number 013 has already been involved in a mishap, hitting a deer on I-80 in Pennsylvania, damaging the hood, right front fender and drivers door. GT-H #001, which was never rented out, was auctioned off at the AirVenture Museum in Oshkosh, WI, bringing in a winning bid of $250000 as fundraiser for EAA!
Before you drive away from the rental agency check the brake pads and tires . Three of the GT-H's were at Barber Motorsports Park for MCA's 30th Anniversary and logging some track time .

This weekend looks gorgeous with sunny skies and upper 70's and lower 80's for high temps. Unfortunately next week the weather quickly goes downhill and by Lisa's arrival in South Haven expect highs only in the 50's! No forecast available for the 23-24 weekend yet. Sure hope it rebounds for the Cobra Nationals.

Yesterday the forcast was cloudy with only a 10% chance of rain
sat. and sun. Today the forcast changed to 60% showers both days.
Stick around boys, this is Michigan. We won't know for sure until that weekend.
