I was really looking forward to this guys, but my teacher said my math test was Sat the 24th. Well, I thought it was weird that we were leaving on a sunday, turns out my teacher meant Sat the 25th

I was really really looking forward to this guys. As of now I will be going on the Dallas field trip the next weekend though. Ill catch it next year. Man I was looking forward to it

I just got an email confirmation from the Raddisson and there is a place on it to set up an account and then it will let you check in up to 7 days prior to arrival and print you out a coupon to turn in and your keys and paperwork should already be done. Might be a good thing to do since we will be arriving there late. I'm thinking I will do it.

. I'm trying to drum up more local participation. I told the Austin Area Stangs group they were welcome and if they wanted to join us for dinner to forward a count to me. If and when I get takers I will let you guys know.

Lance over at Leif Johnson Ford in Austin has gratiously offered to provide lunch (pizza) for all of us if we simply show up & provide a head count!

Coleman, Matt has been in touch with him about this and they are trying to figure out if they can accomodate us. We didn't want to post it yet till Matt worked out the details as we didn't want to confuse people on where we are going.

Once he gets the final word, we will post about this.

I told the Houston gang that IVAN was coming, but no they wouldn't believe me. I guess this may be their punishment.

The moral of this story is - don't mess with a man who can make four assed monkeys, I must have some subconscious control of the weather as well.

As my tires have minimal tread, I only hope this passes quickly.

The issues I see with having everyone go to the Ford dealer are:

1. The parking there is basically non-existent, and I can't get the guy who offered lunch to tell me where he would suggest we park or if he would have dedicated space for us.

2. The intersection that this dealer resides on is very busy, and virtually impossible to get more than a couple cars out of at a time.

So if we did go here for lunch, there is a great possibility the group's parking places would be scattered on side streets all over the place, and we would definitely get split up into many small groups trying to get out of there, with a high probability of some of the group getting separated and lost.

It was great of them to offer, but I think we are asking for problems if we do it. Just my $.02.

Well still debating if Im gonna go.....My rear diff. is leaking (not too bad, but leaking) and money is tight.....Im pretty sure every hotel is booked and Im out a room, so I dont know what I should do....Id LOVE to go, but I just dont know if I can make it happen???.....Decisions decisions

Hey doesn't your cobra have a fold down rear seat? Night accomodations problem solved. Next go to LJF to scarf down all of the free pizza we are going to pass on. If you can siphon fuel I see a free weekend.

I really hope you can make it dude. If it really comes down to having somewhere to stay, let us know. Some people might have a reserved room they won't use and can transfer.

Although free pizza would be awesome, from what Matt is saying of the dealership, sounds like it might cause more problem than its worth.

That is awesome of them to offer though.
