Howard

Thanks for coming out, it was great to have ya'll out there. As you said, seat time is one of the biggest factors. The best goals are to stay safe, have fun, and learn. Hope to see ya'll again next year.

I had some guy riding my ass on 288 last night even though I was in the right lane and the left lane was clear. I had the driver's window about half way down before I realised that giving him a point-by wouldn't accomplish much....

Over the years I have been mystified by people occasionally holding a finger out their car window at me. Now I see they were giving me a "point-by". I feel much better.... No telling what you will learn at an SCMC event!

Thanks for putting on such a great event. I also had the time of my life. Fried oysters and fried tires are just hard to top.
Running in the RED can certainly be a humili.....humbling experience.
It is great to say that I passed a FORD GT several times during 1 session, I will just have to omit that it was parked in the grass.

Folks what can I say. Jayne and I both agree the this was one of the best track events we have ever attended. The MCA 39th at Barber had nothing on you guys. Jim & Jackie, Edmond, David, Andy and others you did a GREAT job.

I am so looking forward to next year. I thought for a while there that I was really quick until I found out the reason I was running away from the cars behind me was that they were standing on the brakes to avoid my gas slicks!! Sorry about that.

We made it back to East Tn at about 8 PM so 15.5 hours including stops! I am going to crash now if the road buzz in my head will go away.

Thanks again for letting us hill folk come play!! You folks are great host!!

Wonder how many petition signers will be willing to step up to the plate and help in the planning of an event that is this complicated to put together? Just some food for thought. We members, own so much to those that work behind the scenes planning and execution the events. I for one can never thank them enough for their hard work and dedication. For it's them that are keeping this club moving forward and bringing so much enjoyment to us members. And that goes for the national level all the way down to the Tuesday night dinner and SB get togethers. Job well done. Thanks again.
