FWIW - I bought a pair of 15x10 steel wheels from Diamond Racing for the dragstrip. They were a custom offset (build to order) and Diamond was GREAT to work with. I ordered them on Tuesday and they were here on Friday. Great service!

Me either, I'm just looking for some seat time with the R compounds and a benchmark before I make some suspension changes.

Will we be running the usual 411 course, or the alternative design?

I'm going with spun steel from Diamond Racing to save a few bucks at the expense of a couple pounds each.

I personally think they look badass, but I'm sure I'll get ridiculed by the 'import' scene.
Eff da haters. I ran my C5 on those godawful wagon wheels for competition for most of it. Ugly? Yes. Fast? Couldabeen with another driver

Hey Everybody!!

Hope you are ready for the AX at 411 this Sunday with the SCMC. I have talked to the track about starting earlier to beat some of the heat.

So the schedule for this Sunday will be:

Gates at 0700 hours
Tech 0800 to 0900 hours
Drivers Mtg. 0900 to 0930 hours
First Car Off 0930 hours
Gates closed 1800 hours

We will have three run groups of ~ 7 cars each.

Each group will make 4 passes per session which should allow for 8 runs each.

Group 3 works the track while Group 1 runs
Group 1 works the track while Group 2 runs
Group 2 works the track while Group 3 runs

So you run then work then off

Remember that the concession stand is closed so be prepared for lunch at the track during one of your off periods.

Please pass this message to everyone!!!!

Wow! Looks like Rick got happy!

Rick, you may wanna stay on the owners/whoever about getting a key for the chains on the gate and/or remind them the night before to have it unlocked.

At the PCA event, there was a backup at the gate because they forgot to unlock it and we had to get them to authorize us to physically CUT the chain for track entrance.

Just a heads up as to avoid any delay's.

Man, I really hope the forcast shapes up. I looked at the 10 day forcast, and it was scattered thunderstorms for everyday. I think the weather man went on vacation, and just copied and pasted before he ran from his office on friday

Only 30% chance. Just enough to cover their azz.

And thankfully it looks like it's going to be a little cooler Sunday.
