Thanks everyone. I'm going to try to put in for vacation, so I won't have to work at all next week (hopefully). That will give me enough time to complete the install and have her ready to rock by drag day.

I don't know how to rate the "difficulty" level, but it sure is time consuming and a little frustrating at times. I was expecting it to be hard, but really it's not. It's just a bunch of jobs all ran into one big install. For 1, the blower swap. You've got to pull the eaton off, then remove the lower intake, then do injectors, then the bumper, then the heat exchanger, all the hoses, pumps etc. Then, remove the springs, then drop the k-member. Then do a header swap, then route all the new pipes. ( <- run on sentence) I'm having some problems clamping everything up. It seems everytime I tighten up some clamps, I can't get the piping on the other side to line up right. So I'm bouncing back and forth from side to side. As for difficulty, this really is about as tough as it gets next to doing a long tube header swap without dropping the k-member. LOL But, I don't believe it's very hard. I would say it's about a 5 for difficulty, but a 10 for time consumption. There is a lot of things to do. Once I get all these pipes lined up and tightened down, I still have to wire up the boost controller, install the kb boost a pump, wire up my wide band o2, run all the vaccum lines. Then, I have to go through and zip tie all the new vaccum lines and pray that nothing leaks. Also, I've got to tune this beast. And of course, I still need to put in my 26 spline input shaft and clutch stuff.

I haven't taken any more pictures, but I've installed the oil feed lines, and clamped all the piping together. It was a pain in the a$$ to get everything lined up. Now, I just have to punch a few holes in the oil pan and run the exhaust out the back. Then, do the input shaft, clutch and flywheel. From there, KB boost a pump, wideband commander install, and then finish up some things in the engine bay. I'm starting to feel that I won't get it done in time........

hey man...where did you mount your boost controller? Also, which pipes didnt line up? We were thinking of using my sheet metal intake from the procharger instead of the cobra intake provided...

I'm going to mount my boost controller (turbosmart eboost) in my cupholder. I had problems with the driver's side turbo hitting the horn (of all things). LOL It made things difficult, so I just removed the horn. LOL Who needs it? But really, the piping lines up great. The ***** of it is, is when it comes time to clamp the stuff together. If you pull too much on one side, then there isn't enough room on the other. You just have to get it perfect, then everything will clamp up. I haven't ran the exhaust yet, but I need to drop the tranny first. I may have this ***** done by this weekend. Who knows?

It's funny you mention the cupholder...i got the Greddy Profec B II and it just doesnt quite fit...we were thinking about notching it and filling in the rest with some kind of filler (maybe fiberglass)...I think for times sake, we're just gonna put it in the glove box, but we'll see what happens...should have some progress pics up tomorrow...man are my snails heavy

I must say that this has been an unbelievable education. Josh, you have no idea how your taking the time to document your progress has answered a great deal of questions I have had about turbo installation. Thank you!

I'll be glad to help in any way I can. I've done this almost completely by myself so I can answer any questions you may have. If you want to see more pictures of anything, just ask and I'll snap some for ya and post them up. Thanks for the props guys.

NEVER FAILS!

Due to conflictions at work, I will be in Tennessee all next week. So I won't be able to work on the car. Even if I got it done this weekend, there will be no time to iron out the tune and fix any potential problems. I'm sorry, but I will not be able to make it to the fall drag day.
