I'd keep looking, there are better deals to be had. Especially if there are issues with that one. Good luck in your search!

The wheel hop. Holy crap.

I think the dealer is still asking to much. 33K for a 3yr old car. He went down from 36K. Cars not not exactly running off the lot these days.
where is the car located? Is in Kansas? If you want, shoot me the number and i'll call and haggle the price down for you

The only con I can think of on the 04 is that the gas tank always seems to get empty. The only real complaint I had was with a creaking front end. That was a $5 repair (replaced power steering rack bolts). Shift quadrant was not adequate and replaced that with aftermarket quad and fire wall adjuster. Other than that the car has been a blast. Probably the best car I have had yet. Almost forgot, this is not a good vehicle for snow driving since it has too much torque at the low end.

Thanks gents

for all the replies. After much thought, I passed on the vert. I'll keep looking or maybe upgrade the 97 or maybe be lucky and come into some money and get a new shelby.....who knows.

Thanks in advance
I have an 04 cobra vert, havent had any rear problems, make sure to put on the IRS brace, and subrframes are essential for a vert, and if you like to or wanna run at the track be prepared to put in a new clutch, if you put on the drag radials, maybe even on street tires, no other problems i can think of.
