As long as it is functional factory installed rollover protection, yes.

Thanks for posting that. How far is this from the track? What should they be quoting for the group rate?

The Springhill Suites is 15 minutes North of the track and the event rate is $99 for a king suite.

Man you are getting old and can't see. The last time I had the hood open on either one of my '95s, they still had pushrod motors in them. You're going to love the white one I just got.....And yes, I'm registered for the event.

Man, am I that feeble/old/blind? I thought I went down the list completely and didn't see any 93-95's listed. I might have to get to work on my old/abused 95 and bring her out for some thrashing and trash talking then!

You need to bring your miata so I wont be the only one getting smoked down the straights by all these high horsepower cars..

MSR-Houston = 19 turns. You better be owning out there!

Question? A little bird told me that we will be driving clockwise this year? Anyone?

Its not the 19 turns Im worried about, its the 3 straights..

I spoke with Edmond the other day about the direction, and from what was said I don't think direction has been decided yet.

I actually like the CW direction better, takes the concrete wall out of the equation at T16-17. Of course, "the launch" takes on a whole different feel...

I'm not sure I've ever heard of a 19 turn configuration!

Ive not driven CW, but I have been passenger on a member day. I have to agree with you on "the launch", it can get a bit harry. Most cars are approaching the launch near 100mph and you have to get all your braking done before cresting the hill.. Im not sure of the speed you need to drop down to, but Im guessing some where around 50mph...

Might want to re-check the hotel of choice. I just called and sounds like they are closed for an undisclosed amount of time due to storm damage.

I've got a call in to their marketing manager - let's see what they think the recovery time will be.

Also check with MSRH - the track is fine and open, some of the buildings (garage doors mostly) are damaged. They will be up and running for our event.
