I would definetly pick the 94/95 over the 93. The 94/95 comes with the 13 inch 5 lug brakes you are going to want and what I consider the "BIG" clincher.....Anti-Lock brakes. It will be a lot easier to drive and late brake knowing the brakes won't lock up on you. No issues on the 94/95 I know of. |

I think that the 93 cobra's are the best looking of the bunch. Especially if they are black, low to the ground, fully road race prepped, have a killer stroker motor (pushrods of course!!) and are driven extremely hard. I may be biased, I just described my car. We bought this car new in 93 and have been using it for track exclusively since 95.
This car has been wrecked once at Watkins Glen, has 32K miles and more than 15K of those are track miles. ![]() ![]() Also, Shugg, though I have not driven summit in a number of years, I now have a fresh set of tires and a good trannny ![]() Brian |

While I have a couple of new tricks up my sleave, I'm thinking this next event will be close, exiting racing. Hooverific will be packing some serious gonads. RE: track car. Yeah, the 93 is a BEAUTIFUL car and I have to agree with Tone (cooter). However, a SN-95 chassis offers some pretty good advantages - stiffness, more aeredynamic, 5 lug from the factory (Cobra obviously has *****en brakes), etc. I think the aftermarket has caught up to the Fox platform (almost). And, if you go with a pushrod (94-95), it can be cheap, reliable power. |
