Unhappy

And that's why I am waiting on mine. Let them get the kinks worked out first and then I'll go for it.

bluecobra03,

Sorry you are having these problems. All I can say about mine which I picked up last night is it's PERFECT ! All and more than advertised. I really believe the bad gas was isolated to a certain number of cars during a certain run. It can happen to any dealer. Just a bummer it happened now. I hope they get it all fixed and your driving that beast soon !.

As for anyone waiting, I will have enjoyed mine for many miles by then ! Oh and for being the first 2003 Cobra owner at my dealer they gave me a 4 Year 60K free maintenance package. Now that's service with a smile.

Cheers,
Robert

Finally Home

Well Rob03, I finally picked up the car this afternoon. Everything was fine and like you, the dealer threw in a 6yr./60,000 mile extended warranty to offset some of the grief I went through. I guess there was a silver lining in that cloud after all. The car does drive awesome. I have only 60 miles on it now but I'm trying to keep my foot out of the sc for a little while. I want those rings to seat properly. The tranny is a little notchy but nothing I won't get used to in a hurry. I'll try to get some photos tomorrow and post them. I would have done it tonight but the battery in the digital camera died. I did get plenty of looks though. I never could find any build sheet in the car bumpers anywhere. I found some part number stickers that referenced "Term" on them from the front and rear bumpers and rocker panels. If anyone has any other ideas as to where one may be I would appreciate it. Well, time to get this camera battery charging so have a good one and I'll be in touch.

I think they took mine also when they prepped her. All I could find were part number stickers also...oh well 100 miles and still runs great!

Cheers,
Robert
