Hey there, I'm definitely a Cobra lovin' woman, big time! Please bear with me, I'm not the best at this message stuff yet, but practice makes perfect, right! My Cobra is still in storage for the winter, March is pretty unpredictable here in Minnesota. I absolutely love that car and can't wait to get it back on the road, probably by the end of April. Been driving my truck for the winter. Nice truck but sure not the same as the Cobra.

I'm glad I live here in the south My cobra is a daily driver Although, I want to get a bad weather car. The problem is besides the cobra, we have a truck and two college kids with cars! The insurance alone on 4 cars is a nice hunk of $$ My daughter graduates in one more year - maybe then.

Yeah, sometimes I wonder why we're here in MN when its snowing and -25 below zero. Guess its home though! No kids for me, just 4 Pekingese dogs and 2 horses. I use my truck to pull my horse trailer. My Cobra is my daily driver too, (in the summer), what a nice ride to work.

its not quite as cold here in the Chicago area, but we received a nice dusting of snow at our new home --- time to take a picture of our backyard...

yesterday, six good sized deer walked thru our yard.... awesome!

I used to see them all the time when I rode in the forest preserve very close to here --- but now, its wild seeing them walk right thru our back yard

I love the names of your birds! I've got cats too so birds wouldn't last too long. We live on 8 acres so there's a lot of wildlife around. I have my horses at home so I do chores every morning and night. I used to show my Arabian in hunt seat and dressage but now we just trailride. I also have a Norwegian Fjord. He's pretty cool, just the opposite of my Arabian in temperament. We just got a couple inches of snow during the night, the wet, heavy stuff. Makes the trees look so pretty! Just enough to get my truck dirty, I'm very anal about keeping my vehicles clean. I'm also a long distance runner, completed 13 marathons. I'm kind of addicted to that I think! I'm going to the Car show this weekend, its in Minneapolis, I'm excited to see the new Ford GT! Thanks for the welcome to Cobra Ladies, I'm new to posting messages so I'm trying to get the hang of it!

Pam --

let us know if we can help you with anything --- we've been doing this for awhile.... I've been here since SCMC was about six months old and watched this forum improve thru the years...

cool !
you have a Nor. Fjord!

I love them they are so beautiful! I also had an Arabian for awhile --
I've had mostly Quarter Horses though

One of our members, Dave has them, or something very similiar,,, let me see if i can find him and we can get a discussion going on here about our four legged friends!

I used to show also -- our daughter grew up in 4-H. After she married, we retired our Quarter Horse to a farm in Iowa. Her Quarter horse (a cutting horse) went to a college in Kentucky..

we sure do miss them!

One of my new neighbors actually used to own the farm at one of the barns we used to board at....

the barn we boarded at for 10 years was burnt to the ground about two weeks ago... purposely --- to build expensive homes.. we knew it was coming, but it was depressing. the owners, whom we were close to, retired and moved to Colorado...

Thanks for the offer to help, I think this club is so cool and what a neat way to get to know people all over the country! I just sort of dived in and hit the reply button and started typing. My first message was to Tony about the new merchandise of which I am sporting on my truck! Every so often I visit the forums and select the option of all new posts just to see whats new. I've never done anything with the Yahoo Groups before and forums so this is all new to me. I love talking cars, horses or dogs so this is great!

Horses are cool, but I've never been around them much. I have two "mutt" dogs - one is half lab/half chow. Her name is Velvet and she's a beauty and a really good dog. The other dog is Amelia (Emmy for short). She's a mess! Some genius mixed a beagle and a siberian huskie

This club is SUPER!! I wish we could attend more events and that there were more members in Alabama. I don't even see too many Cobras on the roads here. I'm always looking, though, and every time I have the opportunity, I tell someone about SCMC. The cars are awesome, but the people are absolutely the BEST!!

Hey there! Erik, my Norwegian Fjord is a hoot! He's so cute, and yes, very stout! Riding him is like having your own personal thigh master! He's not broke to drive, maybe someday. Cobrizo is my Arabian, very nice to ride, light in your hands. I do like the temperament on the draft horses. This has been a great winter for Erik, lots of cold and snow, he absolutely loves it, but the poor guy really suffers in the summer when it gets humid. I soak them both with the garden hose for relief. Do you have Friesians? I love them, they are beautiful!
