You will always have a chance at winning. Different judges like different styles. It is not just one person winning all the time. It just depends on how nice your car is. Definetly show it!!!

The first judged car show I went to was not categorized appropriately. I just went for the experience. What struck me as odd, was I got grouped with the kit cobras (either they had no place to put them or the mustang cobras). As for mods, my car was the only one that was stock, everyone else in my class had either superchargers and or other bolt on things. There was a red one with lots of red wire wraps all over the place. A bit too much overkill and it looked a little sic. There were some show stoppers there too. Then again I did not enter expecting to win anything. It was just for the experience. It did not surprise me that a kit cobra won in my category. I really do not see how they are linked since they are two entirely different vehicles. I might attend this year and did not go last year since it rained that day. I like the freebie shows at the local park that offer live entertainment (music) which is a monthly event during the summer. It is surprising to note how many people are interested in looking at my car when there are only a small number of mustangs. Most that attend are hot rods and classics and not too many modern vehicles. It tends to be a good mix of all makes and models. However, what is nice about the all FORD events, you get some ideas from others on what they did, what looks good and what does not.
